What you need to know about The Fulton County YMCA 20/20 Membership Referral Program What is the 20/20 Membership Referral Program? The   20/20   Membership   Referral   Program   is   an   incentive   program   that   helps   people   partner together   to   enjoy   a   healthier   lifestyle.      When   an   existing   Y   Member   “sponsors”   a   new   Member, both will get 20% off the price of a membership for as long as the two remain members. Who is eligible to participate in the 20/20 Membership Referral Program? Current   Members   who   are   in   good   standing   and   in   one   of   the   following   categories:      Adult, Family, and Senior Citizen. New   Members   (anyone   who   has   not   been   a   member   for   6   months)   of   the   Fulton   County   YMCA joining in one of the following categories: Adult, Family and Senior Citizen. *Financial Assistance Memberships are not eligible for this program. **   Two   new   nonmembers   may   come   into   the   YMCA   and   join   at   the   same   time,   linking   themselves together, and both getting the 20% discount! ***Members   with   special   discount   memberships   please   contact   the   Membership   Director   Wendy S Perry 518.848.3447 x120 How do I get started? It   is   very   easy   to   join   the   20/20   Membership   Referral   Program,   all   you   need   to   do   is   complete   a referral   card   and   bring   it   with   you   when   you   start   your   membership.      Your   friend   or   family member   does   not   have   to   be   with   you.      All   information   will   be   verified   when   they   complete   their membership   paperwork.      Please   allow   30   days   for   the   20%   discount   to   start.      Our   standard joiner   fees   still   apply   to   new   members.      Adding   family   members   to   an   existing   membership   is considered   an   upgrade   and   does   not   qualify   for   discounts.   A   member   can   upgrade   or   downgrade their   membership   as   long   as   you   retain   an   eligible   membership   type.      Annual   Members   who   pay in full will receive their discount at their renewal date (prorated if necessary). What happens if the Membership is canceled? Should   one   of   you   cancel   your   membership,   the   remaining   member   has   thirty   (30)   days   to   refer another   friend   or   family   member   to   join,   this   will   sustain   your   discount.   If   the   remaining   member doesn’t   refer   another   friend   or   family   member   to   join   within   30   days,   the   membership   price returns   to   the   standard   rate   for   your   membership   category.      Members   may   recruit   multiple   new members   and   link   them   to   your   account.   This   helps   to   ensure   your   discount   stays   in   effect;   your maximum discount however will not exceed 20%.
